New polling published today by the Campaign to Protect Rural England and Friends of the Earth reveals that an overwhelming majority (80%) of Conservative councillors in areas where fracking companies have a licence to drill and explore for gas believe that planning applications should be required before drilling.
It’s a dark day for the climate says Friends of the Earth as the government sneaks out unpopular decisions on the last day of parliament today (24 July).
