Together we create change
Friends of the Earth is a grassroots environmental campaigning community. From our campaigners and lawyers to local action groups and supporters across the country, we push for change for people and planet. And together we make change happen.
See the things we're campaigning on now, how we work with local communities, as part of an international network and with supporters who are people just like you.
Joining us is easy, invite us into your inbox and we'll let you know how you can get involved on your own, in your local community, with your local council and how to ask people in power to make changes.

Our local action groups
Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland has a network of hundreds of local action groups.
These groups are run by thousands of people just like you from all types of backgrounds, including nurses, students and grandparents. They bring people together to make their communities more climate-friendly and fight against projects that damage nature, the environment and the climate.
Find out about local action groups in your area. And if there isn't one, consider starting one yourself.

Our global community
When you join Friends of the Earth, you become part of the biggest grassroots environmental campaigning community in the world. It covers 73 countries – from Norway to Australia, from South Korea to Colombia.
We're talking around 5,000 local activist groups and over 2 million members and supporters worldwide. All of them doing incredible things for a healthier, fairer world.
Closer to home Friends of the Earth Cymru and Friends of the Earth Northern Ireland have country teams, and Friends of the Earth Scotland is a separate organisation but part of our global network.
